One of my goals for this card is to show you how you can mix-and-match new and old products. The Gentle Waves background stamp is brand-new from the January – June Mini Catalogue, but the sailboat is from Sailing Home, one of my oldest current stamp sets. The palm trees are from Timeless Tropical, which is right in the middle of that time frame.
I love the texture in the Gentle Waves stamp…not just the wave images, but that they are made up of little dots adds so much to it.
I’m glad I chose to add all the extras — black mat, textured base, ribbon and Coastal Cabana rhinestones, Dimensionals to pop up the sentiment and image layers. You can see everything I used in the list below. Clicking on a picture will take you to that product’s page in my Online Store.
