Another card featuring the super-cute Hippest Hippos stamp set and Hippos dies…two of the FREE products available with a minimum purchase of $90 each during Sale-A-Bration this month. This design was CASE’d (Copy And Selectively Edit) from Anne Alexander, a member of SU!’s 2022 Artisan Design Team.
I kept Annie’s layout, but changed up the Designer Series Paper to this piece of 2022-2024 In Colors Designer Series Paper Assortment in Tahitian Tide. It’s been run through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Stitched Greenery Die for some added texture and movement.
Did you notice that the centre of the doily is covered with the little flowers from the Hippos dies? I cut them out of Basic White with Adhesive Sheet attached and coloured them with Stampin’ Blends. I also coloured some Basic Rhinestones with Blends…the lighter of the combo was used on the flowers and the darker on the rhinestones.
I’m not sure I’ve ever used so many varieties of embellishments on one card…in addition to the rhinestones in the centre, there are iridescent sequins left over from a kit, Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels, and Fun Flowers Resin Shapes!
