Sadly, I needed a sympathy card for a long-time friend who unexpectedly lost her husband early this week. I saw a very similar card made by Connie Stewart, and decided to CASE it for this purpose.

We made a swinging card in my June Fun Folds Class but this one was the first I’d made using a non-circle die.

I like the monochrome colour scheme…even though Peach Pie isn’t what one would normally think of for a condolence card, I think my friend will appreciate it.

I like having just this bit of space for a personal note when I don’t have a lot of personal stories or stuff to say. Obviously, if you have a lot to say you can use a different card layout, or stamp less on the white panels, or add another panel to the back of the card. My momentum got away with me and I wrote before I took a picture, so I covered up my note here.
Here’s the list of supplies for this card…you can purchase everything in my Online Store. Note: this Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper is on sale this month!
