Stampin’ Write vs Stampin’ Blends Markers

This is the card I made during this week’s Facebook Live video. You can watch it on replay on YouTube and Facebook. I go live on my Nancy’s Nifty Notes Facebook Page every Wednesday at 10:00 AET. You can check to see what time that is where you are at this website.

I CASE’d the design completely from page 7 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure. It features the FREE stamp set, Driving By*. The only thing I changed was the bright pink colour, swapping Magenta Madness for the Polished Pink in the picture, since that was the most similar DSP I had in my stash.

In the video I stamped and coloured 2 of the car and balloons image, the first with Stampin’ Write watercolour markers, the second with Stampin’ Blends alcohol ink markers. The consensus was that the Stampin’ Blends made a more appealing final product.

I’ve got one particular friend that I think of every time I look at this card…she’s got a bright red convertible and lots of flair. Do you ever have that reaction when you make a card?

*Happy news for stampers in the South Pacific market – Sale-A-Bration has been extended to 16 March since we missed out on most of the offerings in the first few weeks of January. You can earn this Driving By stamp set for FREE with a minimum purchase of $90! See all the Sale-A-Bration options by clicking here.
