I decided to play along with the latest Colour INKspiration Challenges fairly late in the time window…but when I did the ideas kept flowing! You’ll get to see my cards throughout this week. Here’s one:

I tapped my Mango Melody, Old Olive and Fresh Freesia ink pads onto an acrylic block, then spritzed with water and pressed it to a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, making a watercolour wash of the colours. I made a couple of these pieces, and once they dried I decided to cut the butterflies from them.

I popped each of them up onto an identical butterfly cut from plain Very Vanilla with a thin strip of Dimensionals on the thorax.

Then they and the sentiment are adhered to a piece of Fresh Freesia embossed with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder, and mounted on a Fresh Freesia card base. The rhinestones have been coloured with the Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend, which is a very subtle thing.
Here’s my supply list…I’d love to be your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Australia!
