Here’s another layout for everyone looking to use up scraps of Designer Series Paper (DSP). I’m down to my last bit of the now-retired Regency Park 6 x 6 DSP, and remembered when making “Inchies” cards were all the rage.

To make my squares I used the smallest die in the Stylish Shapes collection. I like the pierced border around each square, but if you want to make a pile of squares quickly, I recommend stacking a couple of pieces of DSP on your Paper Trimmer and using that to cut 1″ squares.

I was happy to find that the narrow label die from Labels Aglow is exactly the correct size for this card front and the sentiment from Charming Sentiments.

Want to step it up? Before adding the sentiment run the Basic White and DSP layer through an embossing folder to give a quilted look. You can also pop up one or two layers or the sentiment.
Like the look but don’t have the Regency Park DSP? Try substituting the Countryside Inn DSP…it has lots of great, coordinating blue patterns.
