Last weekend we were in Adelaide to meet the trainers who will be working with our daughter’s next assistance dog. They were absolutely lovely to us, and really honed in on our daughter and her needs. I wanted to send them a thank you card, and knew exactly what I wanted to pull out of my retired stash: the Dog Builder punch!
When this punch and it’s coordinating stamp set, Happy Tails, retired at the end of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue, I knew it was one of the few sets I was going to hold on to. We’d been raising Noah, a Yellow Labrador, and this punch image is perfect! I didn’t know we’d go on to adopt him, but we fully intended to keep on being involved with Seeing Eye Dogs/Vision Australia and their Golden and Labrador retrievers. It turns out that Canine Assist also works with Labradors, so that’s a double-win!
Along with Labradors of many colours, I included a hand that I fussy cut from a sheet of All Together Designer Series Paper. It’s coloured with one of the new collection of Naturals Stampin’ Blends alcohol ink markers.
The background is a layer of the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper, which you may remember has beautiful florals on one side, and a variety of woodgrain patterns in Basic Gray on the other.
