I saw Julie Davison making these the other week on Facebook and decided that they looked like fun to make…especially since I have a lot of FREE Designer Series Paper that I got through Sale-A-Bration! I was a bit rattled at the start, because despite being really organised (for a change) and knowing what I wanted to do, we had an EARTHQUAKE 45 minutes before I went live! I’m on the 18th floor, and our building definitely shook and swayed, but there was no damage in my immediate area. Some older buildings in the city did have a bit of masonry collapse, but there’s no reports of injuries, thankfully. Needless to say, I didn’t have my supplies quite gathered and my brain was definitely distracted.
I used both the Peaceful Prints and Penguin Playmates DSP.
I think these are super-cute, and could be used with-or-without a gift card/voucher or cash slipped in the pocket along with the notecard.
These are so simple to make, but I made it a bit easier even with this PDF tutorial. I hope you enjoy making some of these to send out!
