Did you get a pack or two of the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper in the recent Sale-A-Bration? I sure did! I like how it sets a nice, seasonal tone. I used it when I CASE’d Karen Egan‘s card.

I was immediately drawn to the dramatic black and gold foil combination.

My square card is a bit smaller than Karen’s, so I chose not to put a sentiment on the front. I like to make square cards this size (10.5 x 10.5 cm or 4 ¼” x 4 ¼”) so that they fit in a regular C6/Medium envelope and don’t require any extra postage to mail.

Lots of layers make for an interesting card, even without a sentiment.

I added a simple one to the inside, along with a matching strip of DSP.
