It’s the 4th of the month and time for another Let’s Craft Together blog hop! We’re a group of Aussie demonstrators who enjoy setting and creating to a good challenge. This month’s challenge was set by Sharni Green:

Here is the sketch I chose to use:

And here is the card I made with it:

I really can’t get enough of these cute otters. To colour them in I started with a base of Daffodil Delight Light (left otter) and went over it with Pecan Pie Light, then a top coat of Daffodil Delight Light. For the right otter I did a base of Crumb Cake Light, then Pecan Pie Dark, and a top coat of Crumb Cake Light.

Can you tell what I did to make the “oval” in the middle? I used the new Online Exclusive, Everyday Arches Dies! I did a partial cut of the arch, then flipped the die around and cut the other curved end. I did the same thing with the Greetings Of The Season die for the sentiment so I didn’t get the hole.

Check out what the rest of the design team created this month!
Here’s what I used to make this card…everything is available in my Online Store.
Gorgeous card using the perfect sketch.
What a great use of this sketch! Gorgeous card
