I started making this card with a sense of what I wanted the end product to feel like, but without a specific vision of how to get there. I’m really pleased with how it turned out!
I’ve made no secret about the fact that I just love the returning Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock colours. I wanted to use this piece of Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper (DSP) that features both colours, without distracting from them.

The Nested Friends stamps and dies work well in scale and theme with the DSP, but when I first laid the images on the card front they disappeared in the leaf print. A simple circle of Vellum cardstock to the rescue!

For a little sparkle I coloured a few rhinestones with my Light Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blend Marker.

The sentiment, from Go-To Greetings, is cut out with one of the Something Fancy Dies…I’ll be sharing the trick for getting a custom-sized label soon…be sure you’re subscribed to all my social media so you don’t miss it!
