While I was at the craft retreat a few weeks ago I created several cards besides the shoebox swaps (make-and-take projects) we designed for each other.
This one features both sides of a sheet of Fruit Salad DSP, one of the FREE options from Sale-A-Bration that’s available through the end of this week only!
While the fussy-cut bananas are the clear focal point of this card, there are a couple of features that are of particular interest to me as a card-maker.
First are the “wonky circles” created by the Around It All Dies, an Online Exclusive product that debuted in January. This series of nesting circles will get so much use, I believe!
Second, I wanted to tone down the brightness of the Basic White layers on the card, so I used a Blending Brush to add Daffodil Delight ink to all the Basic White pieces.
