I was inspired to make this card after seeing one made by my friend, Maheswari Rajaguru. The starburst template is from Martin Stone, and is available on his website.
I cut out the template, laid it over my piece of Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP), and then used the scoring blade on my Paper Trimmer to lightly emboss the lines. Then I simply cut on those scored lines with my Paper Snips, keeping it intact at the intersecting point.
I distressed the edges of the starburst cuts by running the edge of my paper snips along each side, and then used a Sponge Dauber with Petal Pink ink to help them stand out. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals on each section of the starburst to adhere it to the card base.
Then I added two of the 2nd largest Stylish Shapes circle dies and some hearts and sentiment stamped and punched with the Country Bouquet Bundle. The ribbon is retired, but the embellishments are the 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots.
And I decorated the inside panel, too.
